The Hoa Lu Festival 2018 kicked off on April 24 in Hoa Lu, Vietnam's first capital, in the northern province of Ninh Binh.

A ceremony will be held on April 24 (the 9th day of the third lunar month) to mark the1050th founding anniversary of Dai Co Viet and launch the HoaLu festival as a national intangible heritage, according to a plan by the Ninh Binh provincial People's Committee.
